How did you meet?
Shortly after moving to our new home, our two senior sibling kitties ( Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo) passed on. I was missing a kitty on my lap, especially during Covid, so we looked at local fostering agencies to adopt a kitten. We have always had and loved tabbies, so started asking for photos for a curious little girl. Within a week, we met our to be Tina Modotti. It was like she was a gift sent from our previous kitties.
What Makes Tina Special?
Tina is a gorgeous black and tan tabby who wakes us up with kisses, plays fetch with us and carries her flopping fish everywhere. She is fond of the spring coils and is zooming after them all the time. Then crying to have us retrieve them from under the couch and refrigerator. She is particularly naughty around my yarn and recently chewed a hole in a nearly completed sweater that I was knitting. Thank goodness I was able to fix it!
How has Tina Changed Your Life?
Tina is the fourth cat we have had in our married life. Each of whom lived 17+ years. We have loved the joy of scratching their heads and rubbing their tummies, of having them snuggle us in the mornings and keeping us company during happy and trying times.
